Where are we Going

Where Are We Going

Where-are-we-going-smallWhere are we Going?
Music and Lyrics by Diane 1969

Dawn, with a Honey Lemon Shawl, draped with care along the way of the day, her hair undone.

Soon morning catches at the Shawl with busy fingers, as she runs from persuing afternoon.

Where are we going? Can the Clouds provide an answer?
And will the Flowers catch us if we fall?

Evening, in her prime, holds back the Night with her Jewel-encrusted fingers.

But the Night will not be denied, her time has come, with nodding head she will retire.

Where are we going? Can the Clouds provide an answer?
And will the Flowers catch us if we fall?
